Title: Roof Cable Connector Broken
Post by: Dillon on October 10, 2008, 05:31:00 AM
Another problem.  There is a cable which runs through the convertible roof.  Apparently it keeps the roof snug around the back when the roof is up.  The new problem is that one of the connectors which secures the roof cable to the frame is broken.  Anyone have a part that would work to fix this problem?

Thanks,
Dillon  (http://graemlins/big-sad.gif)

I would attach a picture but cannot figure out how.

IF you are referring to the cable pivot there is info in the Yahoo Carpi Group file section:

look for Cable Pivot.pdf

That is the part.  Looks like it will be a do-it-yourself fabrication.  I was afraid of that.  Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
