Just installed a new clutch. But before that when I turned the key to the full off position it would continue to run like I never shut it down. As I was looking for the answer. Cane across Modern Capri According to what I read. What was going on was a typical symptom of a ignition switch diode going bad. So now after I have installed the new clutch and reassembled everything. I can crank it over. But, it's not starting because even when I just turn the key to the run position the check engine light doesn't even come on. And I already tested the bulb and it light up. So right now I don't know if the ECM is even getting power to it at all. And everything else works like there's no problem. So I'm stumped.

I did thanks SHOwn, working 13hours a day has taken a toll on me. Got them ordered. The only nice thing is I get to work on my car when it's slow at my shop.

Anyone have any tips for installing carpet in the Car? I have a new set of molded carpet. What are you're guys opinions on flocking the door panels, aswell as the dash. Flocking is incredible cheap and from what I've gathered will stop reflecting sunlight off the dash something, I've noticed the Capri does alot in my case. Also I've been away I got the oil pressure sender fixed, aswell as repairing my passenger window regulator for the second time. I installed new plugs and wires and I noticed the car runs incredibly better but it seems as though the ignition module in my dizzy is going out so I'll most likely change that once I get the time. As for the brakes I have ceramic pads and a good set of discs, the only thing I'm waiting for to finish my brake upgrade will be Escort brake lines and the Mitsubishi rotors, the ones I ordered were incorrect. If anyone has the right part number for the rotors that would help immensely.

What I heard on the FB group is that Russ is reforming Roo-Sport but will only be selling new parts, and will no longer have any of the old used parts like door panels and the such. This was from Brittany Calhoun one of his partners.

Where did you read that? Just curious, can't remember a diode being a problem.
What are your symptoms? Crank/no start/no tach bounce?

Can someone confirm the correct part # for H&R Springs? I'm having trouble installing the springs I ordered. The springs are taller than the stock springs. Part # is 29657

Go search eBay for Roo-Sport, but last I saw there, Russ was listed as "away for a while" but he had been listing more and more parts on his store before purchasing halted.
