Thanks, the soft top is in tatters, the paint on the top surfaces is gone or pitiful, the interior is filthy from sitting, but the clutch works and it has the tightest shifter I've ever felt.  I'm hoping I can bring it back to life like I did the first one I ever had.

Nice find Jack. You know what to do and not do at this point.  So many of these newbies want to try to fire it up right away without flushing everything and be sure it has good gas  It looks in great shape from the picture.

Thanks for a smooth transaction yesterday and helping me get loaded. That thing had really grown into that spot.

I am back to a three Capri family again. A one owner, 1993 XR2 with 13K. The catch, it hasn't been fired since 2000.

Discovered my had misplaced the journal I have been keeping for five years. It contained info on part numbers, interchanges, specs, and other general info that I used to help newbies and others who had problems and questions. Now I've got to start over and have never had any luck with the search feature.

thanks Jack....no damage done.  Looks like it waited for her to get to our driveway before it split.  Car still runs good...she is a happy camper!

Hello All!

When somebody has a minute, could you please post a pice of how the connections to the end of the cigarette lighter are supposed to be?

It was the first out / last in during my problems, and now I have no idea what order the parts go in.

Cheers
James

Now everyone is going to know what a great car it is. Maybe Festiva people won't be able to afford to buy them for the engines.

Topeka KS, I'm currently talking with the one local at $3800.  What price were you thinking?  I don't want to back out on them but if I don't hear back in a couple of days I'll assume they are out.
