Title: Removing seat rails
Post by: greywolf27030 on March 09, 2020, 10:39:52 AM
I'm trying to remove the seat rails from the passenger seat of my 91 and there is a stop in the center of the track that limits the fore and aft movement of the lower rail and it won't allow the track to go far enough to the rear to get to the front screw. What am I missing here.  Do I have to bend that tab out of the way to remove the track?

I just took the rails off some junk seats last fall. I remember them being a bugger, but I don't remember what I had to do to get them off. You might have to bend that tab

Thanks, don't want to start mangling things unless it's necessary....lol

Well, got back to removing those seat rails.  Drilled out the rivets and plucked them right off there, just have to keep up with the pieces till me or someone needs them.
