Looking to maybe put a set of fog lights on my '91, what size lights fit into opening in hole ? Is it a pain in the butt to mount, doesn't look like there's a lot of beef to mount them, but haven't looked that closely either . More for looks than function !
Thanks !

Something like what I'll be considering. Or a light bar behind the main grill...

So about 4 1/2 x 2 x 4" will fit. getting in there looks like fun ! What you gonna do with 2 extra lights ??!! 4 in a pack, could mount 2 above windshield too I guess !
-
Lol, two above windshield. If you seen where I had my Capri last year in the Osceola National Forest them lights would come in handy. These Capri's make good off-road vehicles. Instead of straddling humps and bottoming out they just rise above with their short wheel base.
18 watts doesn't seem like much. Then again I have some LED flashlights that are simply amazing.
It shouldn't be too hard to make your own mount bracket.

I am sure those lights are meant to be seen, and not to help you see down the road, might be OK for running lights, wire them to com on with the headlights...
-
I've used them in my Subaru, as standalone driving lights, and I'd say they are certainly formidable alternatives to the stock halogen lights. Not bad at all, really.

I'm not a fan of LED fogs and halogen headlights. I think they should both be the same.
What about these fog lights? The size looks right though I'm sure the bracket won't fit exactly.

These line up PERFECTLY-ish and use the existing mounting holes.

Interesting looking lights although description says they won't fit a Capri, but we know we can make stuff fit.

I think it looks best when the color of the headlights match the fog lights.
For best performance though, it’s better to have yellow fog lights because they penetrate low visibility conditions better than white light does.
I would take those Hella Optilux fog lights from summitracing over those ebay leds.
-
Fancy.
Anyway, as these are the only forward illumination I have on the car atm, I must say they work well as driving lights.
-
I don’t think those Hella lights are anything fancy
Now this is what I consider fancy. Too bad they cost more than my entire projector retrofit.
