Title: Clutch pedal problem
Post by: Greg_B on August 30, 2020, 08:23:35 AM
Embarrassed to say I finally got the 93 N/A home from the storage unit  ::)

There was a couple of pieces of light blue plastic laying under the clutch pedal ?

The pedal does still work but the first inch or so of free-play has no resistance, and then clunks or bangs when it does develop resistance.

FSM is pretty lean on details on the assembly, just looks like spaces and bushings?

Any guess's ?  Going to dig in this afternoon.

Greg

Dug into it early, looks like the plastic rest that the freeplay adjustment uses?

I have a picture but not sure how to post image

Found a posting on a Facebook page, of what it should look like.  Since my remains were hard plastic, not rubber, I used a small hard self stick furniture glide.

Working now, brought the pedal right were is was before.
