Title: Washer fluid reservoir caps?
Post by: LlamaLover on June 22, 2020, 07:10:42 PM
Hey guys, I recently picked up a '91 XR2 and have been having a great time learning about it and fixing it up.

One random, small piece I haven't been able to find a replacement piece for is the cap for the washer fluid reservoir.

Has anyone had any luck using any sort of a generic ford or Miata cap? I haven't found anything that fits. Worst case I will jury-rig something with plastic and a ziptie, but I figured I would ask you good folks first.

Thanks for any help and taking the time to read this!

I wonder if one from an early 90s ford escort would fit. Google images shows a bunch that look the same but I didn't see any dimensions listed
Would be a good thing to check when strolling in the junkyard

Thanks for the responses! I jury-rigged aluminum with a zip tie for the moment, but I'll look into the escort one and keep my eyes open. Cheers!

I was looking at the Help! one in Advance Auto the other day. It looks close, but it was $11!
