Title: Wanted- 94 Capri headlight dimmer switch
Post by: Kent94XR2 on September 28, 2017, 12:33:57 PM
Hello Folks-
After owning a '91 Capri for 10 years, my wife just moved to a '94 XR2.  The high beams do not work on it.  I purchased a new  combination switch, but now the mechanic says I need a headlight dimmer switch, which the combination switch plugs into.  Does anyone have one for sale?  So far, I have not been able to find a Ford part number for it.  Thanks  -Kent

That's the instrument light dimmer.

I'm aware but I couldn't think of any other switch. If I'm correct he's talking about the one that lifts and turns on the headlights/high beams. Kinda confused me sense he talked about a dimmer. I posted that while I was on my work break aswell.

Update: Disregard this completely I have 0 clue what I'm talking about electronically.

Cool, I have a new one of those.  I thought that was the combination switch.
