Title: 91 XR2 - Tastefully modified (In my opinion)
Post by: darkfact on September 03, 2018, 05:28:32 PM
I've been having a blast this summer. It has responded well to chassis bracing and better suspension.

Looks good, any pics of the chassis bracing?

What wheels are those?

@chukT Sorry about the very late reply. I don't get on here too much. I don't have pics of the chassis bracing but all the Ultra Racing braces on Ebay for the Mazda BF chassis fit the Capri. The only thing they don't have is a front strut tower brace, and front sway bar.  I got very lucky and found a used one on ebay from a private seller. The wheels are from a 1988 Mitsubishi Mirage Turbo. These are probably very hard to find but once again it was dumb luck on a local craigslist post. They are still 14" but a bit lighter. Plasti dipped them vintage gold and I run Falken Azenis RT615K+. It's a very sticky summer tire not suited for a daily driver.... but oh man do they stick to the road.
