Selling my 92 XR2.
With a heavy heart I must sell my 92 Capri. Issues with my left knee have made it difficult to drive a manual gearbox. I have owned this car 2 times. Most recently imported it from Canada back in 2014. This car is in excellent condition. I have won awards at car shows including best of show. The car needs nothing. Everything works. Impeccably maintained. I have done the big brake upgrade. Upgraded to braided stainless brake hoses. New fuel tank in 2019. It will be difficult to find a nicer/cleaner Capri. I have many spares that will come with the car including distributors, throttle bodies, ecm, rebuilt brake master cylinders, Literally totes full of parts that will come with the car. Tires have less than 1000 miles on them. Rocket chip boost set to 13.5psi.
Clutch replaced in 2007 at 64,000 miles. Cylinder head rebuilt with new valves a few years ago due to exhaust valve leakage.

Car has around 90,000 miles
This car is 100% ready to go. You could drive with confidence cross country in this car. You should be able to drive many years with only regular maintenance.

Car is sold. Congrats to the new owner. I am sure they will have many years of enjoyment with the car.
Sad to see it go but sometimes change is a part of life.
I'll stick around here and visit once in a while. I have gained a lot of technical expertise in servicing these cars.

I want to thank Dave for maintaining the car the way he has over the years. It was actually better in person. I promise to give it plenty of exercise on these beautiful mountain roads in West Virginia and Western Maryland, especially with the Fall Foliage Festival car tour coming up. Happy to be part of the group.

Good luck with it. I love to drive the area you're talking about. I drove US52 from north to south and loved it. I also came down the eastern side if WV the same way.
