Title: First Capri
Post by: rkw958 on July 03, 2019, 11:37:13 PM
Hi all. I just bought my daughter a 91 Capri at a great price. I do need to find some parts for it. I have searched every corner of Google for an ignition lock cylinder and a trunk lock. I have had no luck and according to Ford there are no other vehicles that used the same parts. Anyone have these laying around or know where to get them.

I can't wait to get this thing safe and on the rd. I may have to borrow it from time to time. I have to periodically check its safety, it is my little grl driving it right.

Welcome and good luck getting going.  Most fun you can have with your clothes on...lol

Thanks Grey

I have not had the chance to drive it yet but it looks like it will be like driving an over sized go cart (a little more power of course). That is my biggest concern, she is a lot like me and has an addiction to adrenaline, fears nothing. I should have bought her a smart car but she used that damn daughter magic they have over their father and now she has a convertible.

You don't have to tell me about daughter magic, I've got two.  It is safer than a motorcycle....lol

I have 3 that are all 17. Mine from previous marriage and twins steps that are all but legally mine (working on adoption now). my son is 21 and as soon as he graduated he ran to college as fast as he could.

I would get them a motorcycle if there mothers wouldn't hang me. I have one that has been begging for one.
