Title: What's it worth?
Post by: Turtle on May 07, 2018, 08:56:06 PM
I would like to get an idea of what these are worth, as I may be putting them up for sale.  These are out of a 1993.

1.  Factory removable hardtop, white in color, gray interior.  good condition, headliner loose but not falling out.

2.  Factory , roll around stand for hardtop

3.  Factory, full tonneau cover, white in color, in original bag and looks like new.

Hello Turtle, where are you located.

Jack Byrd

PS I already have a red hardtop, just looking for more Capri people nearby.

Way on out there huh?  Would still like to get together with other owners some time.  I gave $250 for my red top in similar condition with a windshield and a spoiler.  Prices are all over the place, I've seen them priced for $850.  But I've seen cars with tops for $1000.

In cherry condition I've seen them sell for $600-800 but generally they sell much lower
The carts seem to have no value unless they are in absolute mint condition, probably best to include with the top

I paid $100 for a hard top a few years back, it was repainted a non-capri color

Location, condition and color are major drivers of price. They are not exactly rare

Tonneau covers I've seen sell for $100-250, they are worth much more if you have the factory clips from the dash and the post pins just behind the doors

Tonneau cover doesn't require the metal dash clips, I made mine out of nylon web belting and plastic clips found at fabric stores. I explain how to make them and include pix, as well as a link to where to find the snap posts in the following thread...
