Title: Front Hub question, N/A vs XR2
Post by: SHOwn on May 07, 2017, 11:03:24 PM
Same hub or different? I have a set of hubs from the 94 N/A I stripped that I could prepare for using to do a Galant brake upgrade on my 91 XR2 if they are the same part.

Anyone know?

The hubs, bearings, and even the calipers are the same. In fact most N/As seem to have the larger rotors too.

The main difference is that the steering knuckles have longer caliper mounting ears to accommodate the larger rotor.

Thanks again Chris! I have the 94 N/A struts down to the rotors and calipers that I took complete before I scrapped that donor car, springs, saddles, etc. so I'm thinking to use these hubs to send out for machining to get ready for Galant/Escort front brakes.
