Title: fuel pump bad?

could use a lil help.ole ladies '91-N/T,auto,sat since last aug.ran an drove.had some wiring issues.got them fixed an wont start.have spark,no fuel.filter is ok.have some juice to the F.pump wire,when i plug it together no juice.pump is only 3 yars old,do they go bad from not being used?changed FP.relay w/used an the PCM also.still no fuel.took inlet line off filter an no fuel.,no sound outa pump.fuses good.hate to throw out $100 again on fuel pump.thx-jeff//jeffohc2000@yahoo.com

if there is no fuel, go to back seat, take seat then open fuel pump cover and take ful pump end try on streat on battary if fuel pump forks then check fuse and thans ok then check reley or i do not know name it's in trunk

The fuel pump will not run unless the engine is cranking and the VAF is open.

There is a jumper on the firewall you can use to test the fuel pump. I helped a gentleman with his capri that had a stuck pump, with voltage applied several firm raps to the panel on the tank freed the pump motor up and it worked fine thereafter.

thx,i'll give it a try.fuel pump shut off switch( emergency rollover,or heavy impact)red button in the left side of the trunk.jeff

found i'm not getting full voltage to the fuel pump.gotta back track now.
