not all 6 1/2s will work, u need narrow depth speakers. there is not much thickness to our doors. when i replaced with rockford speakers, i had to top mount my speakers. which mean they mount outside the door itself. 5x7 rears for our car as well if u even need to replace them. 4x6 will work to, if the speakers come with adaptors, but again depth matters as that is where the top goes done into, right behind them. so make sure to test fit, i never measured the actual depths of both locations as my mind was set for custom install that i wanted to do.
