I went and saw the 94. Its in OK shape. The engine is trashed(the head is off, the guy at the DEALERSHIP says that its bad....No timing belt, so maybe the belt jumped or broke). The top is bad, too. But the interior looks alright, tail and headlights are there, only 1 flat.

I work as a Capri mechanic in Irving, and I went with the owner of the place to look at it. With some talking, the guy selling it will go no lower than $400+taxes and title. Being a dealership, he is legally obligated to transfer the title right there, unless you've got a dealer's license.

I actually have several sets of 94 tails, and the XR2 part is simply a sticker.....

Hey Russ! The XR2 part isn't exactly a sticker. It's injection molded plastic and the colors are colored plastic, not painted. It is affixed by way of plastic welding, not simply glued on. Me thinks you know the rarity of that tail-light. More-so than the '94 spoiler. My point in the post is that you have virtually anything available. Also I have two sets of '94 tails and maybe half -a-dozen sets of the others. I'm just not in the business of supplying others. That's why you get the referals from me.  Gus

ya, i have not gotten to meet in person yet with russ, but talked a few times on the phone and worked out a few deals.
