Removing Shifter?

(Not related to the topic here) but is there a 1996 or newer vehicle that has a EFI unit & computer that could be swaped onto the '91 Capri/Mazda block? Seems like it would be real handy to be able to 'plug-in' one of those diagnostic tools & adjust verious engine settings.

You might be able to use one for an N/A, I think the B6 was used till quite late, but there is nothing available for the turbo... Sure you try to fit a newer management system but I don't think it would be worth any possible benefits
