Quick question...

Anyone know what size the lock nut is on the rear hubs? I have a 91 N/A if that makes a difference.

Thanks!!

Sorry to dredge up this auld thread.

Is this just a generic part?

Working my brake job ... need to turn or replace L rear rotor...what a pain!  Is the manual correct ... must I buy a new locknut?  Are they hard to find?

I've got a spring and a clip missing on one side, too.   :(

I THOUGHT IT WAS EAZY. HARDEST PART WAS WAS FINDING THE PARTS & THEN FIGUREING HOW THEY WENT IN. 1 THING IS FOR SURE IF YOU LEAVE ANY PART OUT THEY DONT WORK RIGHT. THE CLIPS YOU ARE MISSING I FOUND ON EBAY. THE LOCK NUT WAS VERY EAZY . I FOUND THEM AT MY LOCAL BUMPER TO BUMPER STORE. JUST TAKE YOUR OLD ONE WITH YOU.  THE RT & LEFT SIDE ARE DIFFERENT THE RT SIDE HAS CCW  THREADS. YOU WILL NEED A PICTURE OR YOU WILL NEVER FIGURE IT OUT. THIS FORUM HAS A LINK TO THE FORD MANUAL
