N/A distributor caps, Australia vs US distributors
« on: October 03, 2021, 08:20:13 PM »

I'm in need of a new distributor cap for my 94 N/A
Finding a new unit in North America for under $100 is near impossible. I can order one from Australia but wanted to confirm that the N/A distributors were the same for both Australia and US.
Thanks in advance

I believe that every Capri was manufactured in Australia, so they should all be the same. Someone better versed than me could definitely help you out better, but I'm pretty confident you'll be alright with an Aussie dizzy cap.

An update for anyone interested. The Australian N/A distributor caps are the same as the North American versions. Cost roughly $65 shipped at the current exchange rate. Would much rather go that route than give $120 to the theifs at the site that shall go unmentioned.
The part number is GM847 from Bosch.
Alternative part number is BD129 from fuelmiser.
I ordered the BD129 because it was a little bit cheaper and they sent the Bosch as it's the same unit just rebranded.
