Connections to cigarette lighter

Hello All!

When somebody has a minute, could you please post a pice of how the connections to the end of the cigarette lighter are supposed to be?

It was the first out / last in during my problems, and now I have no idea what order the parts go in.

A picture would be most helpful. I’ve definitely got it wrong, because the circuit is now shorting out.
