Coil on Plug upgrade
« on: May 05, 2021, 02:38:59 AM »

Is there a Plug N Play coil on plug unit available for the Capris.
Is it worth the cost to change.
What would the advantage be.

There is a guy on the Festiva FB group that makes one and there are probably others. Don't know how it effects performance, but his BP Festiva does 150MPH in a quarter.

You can get the coil on plug systems made, but you will need a standalone ECU to power them, the stock ignition system can't talk to 4 coils

I think, but not positive, he was/is running the EVO 8 ECU. Someone figured out how to modify it to run the BP/BPT
