One headlight higher than the other...
« on: September 21, 2020, 04:11:01 PM »

Heya all,

When I first bought this Capri the passenger headlight would not go up, so I took it apart and cleaned the gears / connections and got it working now.  However when I hit the switch to pop them up it pops up about an inch or so lower than the other headlight.  I can manually raise it to the right level, but it doesn't do it automatically.  I've tried adjusting it using the adjustment knob before/ after it going up / down, but to no avail.  Any advice on that?

Thanks!

you may need to adjust the linkage angle. The "arm" that bolts onto the gear might have been a tooth or so off.

Thanks for the info, I'll take it apart again and see if I can adjust it.
