Front sway bar links
« on: August 02, 2020, 03:41:52 AM »

Has any body ever had to replace the front sway bar links on a 1994 SE Turbo..if you have .From where did you get them from. They arec not like all the other Capri's. They are shaped like a dog bone with a ball joint at each end. The ball joints have a 10 mm thread on each end and are about 60 mm apart.

cheers

They're a much better design than the 91-93 style. One of 94XR2 only - things. I think? Did the NAs get swaybars with those links in 94?
Long shot, but maybe the ford dealer?
I can't recall of anyone replacing them, not to say it hasn't been done.
When I worked as a parts jockey at the local autoparts store, I remember seeing a fair number of similar links. I don't have the luxury of going through endless boxes of parts looking for similar stuff anymore.

I think the ones on my Hyundai are similar, I'll check them out.

If yours are good, keep em going

Is it suspected of working, or is it confirmed of working? An important distinction

It certainly looks pretty close, good work
