Oil pressure sending unit. WVE 1S6654

Today I replaced my oil pressure sending unit. For years it has worked fine however starting this season the gauge has been all over the place. Super high pressure then almost no pressure. Cleaning the connection did not fix the issue.

I found a suitable replacement: WVE brand 1S6654. WVE is NGK/NTK brand and is made in Japan.  It's about 10% larger than the original VDO sending unit. It was less than $130.00 at Rockauto.  With discount plus shipping and taxes my cost came to $134.93.
