Federal vs California ECM
« on: April 06, 2020, 02:35:20 PM »

Hi everyone. I'm trying to replace the ecm in my 94 n/a. The current ecm is a California spec. I can find plenty of the federal spec units, but the CA ones are hard to find. Does anyone know if a federal ecm will work in a California car? I live in Oregon, and we don't have emissions testing where I live.

I'm not sure what the difference is. But I'm going to guess a standard ECU will work fine.
