HI, I new to the forum and have just bought my reef green 1993 Capri Barchetta. Has good option such as A/C and cruise control. Has new timing belt and pump and I checking my ignition timing following the workshop manual. Disconnecting and plugging the vac pipes on the distributor and disconnecting the single white connector under the distributor. Base timing at 2 Deg. BTDC as per manual. The manual mentions earthing the service wire on the green connector No 1. It looks as if this is a connector next to the wiper motor but there is 3 connectors here. One is green with 4 wires of different colours. Does anyone know which wire requires earthing.
