Air Bag Light
« on: November 19, 2019, 01:34:38 PM »

I searched but could not find the final solution to this problem. My 1991 non-turbo Capri air bag light flashes 10 times. How do I fix this?

Thanks,

I have a 94 Capri with a bad clock spring. I see where to unplug it but how do you get to them? I can't get to it from under the dash. I have even tried to get to them by removing the gauge cluster. NO ROOM!

The techcapri 1993 service manual has extensive info on air bag diagnosis.

Blueamber, thank you. Unfortunately, I'm not mechanical enough to troubleshoot this problem. Does anyone have a recommended mechanic or electrical person in the Los Angeles (SFV) are that they trust on Capris?

Bump. Hoping someone has a mechanic in Los Angeles (SFV) they recommend for Capris. I would really like to get this resolved and could use a mechanic recommendation.  Thanks.
