Charging system not charging
« on: August 23, 2019, 09:37:08 PM »

Can somebody explain why my charging system isnt charging anymore? I completely took my center console out cleaning all underneath there. Unplugged, and unbolted everything besides the ebrake and gear shift. Then all of a sudden my Airbag light starts flashing and my battery isnt being charged. I couldn't possibly believe anything under the center console would affect the charging system, but thats why im here to learn more. I tried plugging in the switches, the brake controller relay looking thing all back in and still got the airbag light and no charging. Is it a bad alternator the coincedently went out doing this? If it is, could I get some instructions to take off the alternator? I just bought this car for a little project and have no knowledge with these cars.
