Would an xr2 ecu..
« on: July 12, 2019, 04:35:45 AM »

Be able to be made to run a 1.8 turbo engine? How's it been done? I'm guessing getting the right injectors to balance with the displacement would make the easy work.

I touch on this in the BP swap thread:

Short answer is yes, because we use a VAF meter that is volume based, it will run the BP correctly with stock XR2 injectors.
It's not ideal but it will get you up and running.

When I built the GTXR2 I used B6T electronics on the BP+T I have in it, it ran fine with good AFR's even at moderate boost levels
Long term I had plans to put my Megasquirt ECU into it but it ran well enough that I didn't bother at the time.
