Broken wheel stud
« on: July 11, 2019, 12:08:20 AM »

The last time I bought tires the tech must have cross threaded the nut because it broke off when I attempted to remove it.

There are tutorials for replacing the studs but all of them neglect to mention how to remove the cover from the "spindle nut" in the center of the hub.

How do I remove said cover?

On the rear? You can pry the cover off gently, try not to mar the lip. Flathead screwdriver or small chisel will work. It's a very light press fit
