Anyone know where I can get a blower motor resistor these days?

It looks like you can get them new for the 88/89 323. It looks to bolt on, but appears to have an extra wire or two so I'm not sure if it's 100% direct fit.
It'd be a good jumping off point, though, even if not a 100% match

Thanks for the info!  I did fine one on Ebay that's guaranteed to work, so we will see.  It was worth a try at the price, but I may pick up a new one just to see if it will work as well.

OKAY, mine broke, fan position one, ac on, no blower.  Fan position 2,3,4 blower on, no ac.  One of the resistor coils broke.  A dab of solder and now works.  Those resistors on rockauto for 88/89 323 will probably work, the blue wire is a ground, looks to be shared with the blower motor ground.  Not sure if those connectors are right, but you can always cut the new blue wire and splice it into the old blue wire in the car and wire nut it...

Necro’d for closure.

How’d the 323 resistor work out?

I've also noticed I have no blower motor on speeds 1 & 2. At some point here I can toss a resistor from a 323 in there to see how much extra work is required to get it to play nice with the Capri.

The one I got from O'Reilly's was an exact replacement and just dropped in. No fan on certain speeds is sometimes corroded/dirty contacts inside the fan switch. It can be disassembled and cleaned.
