Factory wheels needed
« on: December 23, 2018, 03:17:15 PM »

I'd like to get some factory aluminum wheels.
The car I just bought came with aftermarket 14x6 wheels. I have 2 of the "geometric" wheels left from my last Capri, so I only need 2 (or3) more.

Preferably someone near me, close enough that I could pick them up. Let's say between Pittsburgh and Harrisburg, PA

I might have a few laying around, I'll check. I'm in eastern PA but make fairly regular trips to Pittsburgh

John Purdy might have a set too, he's in the Natrona Heights area

Great, thanks let me know. I'm in no big hurry either, won't be running until spring.

I have 4 currently on my 93 N/A.

In the spring I hope to replace them with 94 N/A factory wheels.

Once I get the PA Antique tags on it I have little reason to keep the originals, Tires are good just old.

My son went to Pitt Johnstown, 3 hour drive.

I'm in Millersville, PA

Thanks Greg-B.

When you get your other wheels let me know, if I'm still looking then maybe we'll make a deal.

My son is at UPJ now!

I have a complete set of geometric wheels off a 92 xr2 to sell that are in good shape. Also have extra central hub covers for them.  I am in North Carolina.

Thanks Jdp, but NC is a little too far away. I'm trying to find just 1 or 2 wheels locally to me.

1991 Mercury Capri Aluminum Alloy Wheels

I've got 4 original equipment rims in mint condition (with tires). Removed from Capri purchased new in 1991 when replaced with 3rd party spoked rims at about 19,000 miles. Similar wheels advertised on internet, used or reconditioned, at $179.99 + shipping.

I’m asking $75 each, $300 for the set of 4.
(I'd add picture but can't figure out how to do that on this forum.  If you email me I can send to you.)

Respond jheyer1233@aol.com   Thiensville, WI 53092

I'll have tires removed if you don't want em. Shipping logistics negotiable.

Looks like I rounded some wheels up locally.  I bought a whole parts car. don't need wheels now.

Are you still looking for factory wheels for your Capri?  I have a complete set of 15" triads, complete with center caps, and a complete set of 5 spoke 14" ones with center caps and also tires better than 50%.  I am just south of PGH.  Let me know.
