Fuel tank removal
« on: November 24, 2018, 08:21:46 PM »

Hey all,
Anyone got any tips or tricks to getting the gas tank out? I've got all four mounting bolts out and hoses disconnected but seems like every corner has something in the way to hinder removal. I've already spent several hours today trying to drop this thing.

Disconnected the fuel pump electrical?  Vent tube?  Filler tube?  Mine always just dropped out.

Yes to all. The left corner of the tank is blocked by the control arm. Maybe I'm just tired and not seeing it right now.

Yeah, already read that, step 11 is definitely not that easy on my car. I got it out finally after much wrangling and swearing.
