Manual Boost Controller

Is the Turbo in the capri controlled by the ECU? Im looking to put a manual boost controller on it if it is, along with a rocketman chip

Rocketman:
It is not controlled by the ECU, it's just mechanical. The manual boost controller will raise the boost pressure.
