Need New Crank
« on: May 17, 2012, 05:14:00 AM »

I am looking for a good mechanic in the Everett WA area to rebuild my 91 small nose crank engine. The enging is good , but the crank is not. Can I replace with a large nose crank?

You can replace the crank with the large nose, but you'll also need:

large-nose oil pump
large nose front main seal
large nose harmonic balancer
large nose accessory drive pulley

as these are different & not compatible between crankshafts
