Valve spring compressor

What do you all use to compress and remove your valve springs and keepers? I'm finally digging back into my '91's head after many months of procrastination. Got the cams out and cleaned out some of the gunk, now I need to remove the valves and powerwash the head.

It's a tough one. I made this a while back to perform the task. It bolts in place of the camshaft caps, and the long screw drives a basket onto the spring retainer to depress it. The basket has windows machined into it to provide access.

I think I saw a similar device for a Miata and made my own version of it

That is a neat tool. I've seen similar ones for the Honda heads too.
