LGCapri Rebuild Thread
« on: June 21, 2019, 06:43:13 PM »

So if you didn't see how this all happened, take a look at this thread http://teamcapri.com/forum/index.php/topic,4274.0.html

So I will be starting this thread to create a timeline of my work rebuilding and modifying my Capri.

At this time I have gotten the hood open and the bumper off.

List of things I would like to do with it:
Fix bumper (obviously lol)
Modernize lights. Daytime running LEDs, outlining foglights with LEDs, still need to design rear lights
Engine upgrades/swap

More to come! Thanks for those who stick around for the story!

That's bad, but fixable.  Want to follow along on your progress and modifications.

What are peoples opinions on the Razzi bodykit?
Can anyone with said kit post some good pictures of their cars? I can't really find good photos of the entire kit.

Good luck on the Razzi or any other kit.  I've been searching for a while and they are no longer manufactured or available anywhere I can find.  I managed a lower bumper cover/spoiler from an individual in PA but haven't gotten to mount it yet, been to busy.

LGCapri,

It should be noted that the Razzi and all the other kits are not complete bumpers, they just slip over the existing bumper cover from the body line down. I wrecked my first Capri and went to look for one of the kits instead of an OEM bumper and was disappointed to see all the aftermarket stuff just slipped over the OEM parts.
(if that is what you were thinking of anyway)

They pop up from time to time. For a while you could still get the Millen style kit from the mfg but it's not sounding like that is the case anymore.

These guys still list the Razzi kit, maybe worth calling them? I don't trust the site as a whole but these are the original pictures and prices

Would like to hear what they say, when I contacted them they said it was no longer available.
