XR2 Production Sequence number
« on: January 21, 2018, 08:19:24 PM »

Is there anyone that has access to the production sequence numbers for the XR2's?  In doing a search on the site, I found some old post that Russ at Roosport was doing it. Since there does not seem to be any involvement from him now, I was wondering if anyone else can point me in a direction.

thanks for any help...

Russ has a spreadsheet from someone that sourced it from Ford back in the day, and it pertains only to the 94 XR2. I don't believe he's ever published the data.

Closest thing to that I ever saw was Russ's attempt at a 94 XR2 registry. Not exactly what you were interested in though. http://www.midcomustang.com/newcapri_1994_xr2_registry.shtml

Ok, took some searching the yahoo group files section, but is this it?
https://xa.yimg.com/df/capri/94+xr2+list.txt?token=65tuha__irbo31qfKbYbj03O7mDo6U_cg6dmG09Z_DBbjIAMjmJmtVB-ZzGRCRIuOrxsSf5OLQvSncgZpNRIWolWnD7OczcGVfc9MwPvxgG_Uw&type=download

You will at least have to refresh the page on iOS/Safari. If that doesn't work, login to the yahoo groups and it should work.

Further evidence that I have a LOT of bookmarks!

SHOwn that yahoo file is mine, just lists vins for 361 94xr2 in the US.  Russ's list has colors of cars, etc, he has dribbled out info in the past, wish he would just publish his list...

Thanks for verifying that it isn’t it though.

thanks all for the feedback.   I was trying to find out the production number for a 94 xr2 that I am buying.  In communicating with some other members on this forum, they had been able to find out that their car was #27 out of the 361 for example.  I was wanting to figure how this one that I am buying fit into the scheme of things.
