I would not cry about that....look what you will be saving in labor...looks good to me with what I spend doing it...my rings and bearings were more though.

Hey Shocker who's doing your turbo? Are you doing it yourself? The list does look cheap for a new start for sure.
Thanks, Rob

It should be noted you can get OEM pistons for a Miata, and rod & main bearings are readily available as well. Internals are not hard to find

do they sell 20 over??? Man, i tell you I went to every one in town and nobody could get them, I thought I would have to spend the 900 at cork sport!!
P.s. my oil pump, from "corksport" a mazda-speed high flow was close to 200.00 or above, but there pretty spendy guys.
Head work was 700 from wes king racing heads, this guy usually works on nascar, and top fuelers, he gave me a good deal.
Cometic head gasket  125
All internal ARP bolts, with a monster discount, were still over 300
That list from 2 posts up, gives me a better idea how much the bore job will cost along with the crank polish. Everything else in engine that could be replaced, balanced or upgraded... was!
Currently saving for a new turbo and manifold.
Still have to do a different fuel injection system and megasquirt it also.
Whew, I'm thinking I'm about 2000 short right about now.
