Shifter Bushings?
« on: February 26, 2011, 09:15:00 AM »

Just picked up a 91 xr2 (fell in love with it on day one) and shifter has a lot of play. wondering how difficult installing some new shifter bushings is going to be.

I installed all new bushings in my 91 NA in about half an hour. That was after I sprayed the bolts with the break free gunk. It really is easy to do and makes a huge difference. I believe there is a sticky on here with a few options on where to get them.

Have fun!

Tried sticky, but it's marked "Forbidden"!!!

Found the NAPA listing:  https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/ATM0771303#

Did not find stabilizer bushing or insert anywhere except Roo-Sport. com , which I have not been able to connect with.

I couldn't get into the sticky either, same result.  Thanks for the NAPA part number, I didn't have any luck locating it a few months ago when I was searching.
