Distributor Vacuum Advance Module

..Has anyone ever rebuilt or were able to find a rebuilt Distributor Advance Module..??...My rubber diaphragm has obviously shrunk or has a rip in it causing the car to come to an almost stall condition at idle..I shot some carb cleaner into the vacuum module and the engine of course regains power. I have searched for a replacement but it seems you can't just buy the module you have to buy the Distributor also to get it and they of course aren't cheap...

You have a few choices. Find someone that is parting their car out.
More readily available are1988-89 Mazda 323 1.6L parts which many parts are the same. Here's a quick ebay search...

My ignition module went out so I just bought the whole distributor. I'll take the vacuum advance off the old one if you are interested. Shoot me an offer and I'll help you out.

Eh, forget that idea. I took mine off. They are identical to the 323 except the angled mount bracket.
Pull this part# up in Autozone's search feature... JV1516 and you'll see.

I tested mine and it works. Rubber on the back side around the plunger looks rough but it still works.
