WTB XR2 dashpot
« on: January 17, 2017, 11:08:02 AM »

Does anyone have a XR2 dashpot they would be willing to part with cheap. I am having stumbling issues, mainly on a slight let off of the accelerator above 3000 RPMs.

I have already tested/replaced/adjusted the TPM, replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, tune up, etc.

I'm thinking you shouldn't even be into the dash pot with slight let off from 3000.

It should just catch the throttle if you take your foot completely out of it, so the throttle plate doesn't just slam shut.

Mine was a bit out of adjustment. Cranked it out to catch as early (read open) as it can, while still glowing the throttle to close completely.

I'm out of ideas. You can see my ordeal in the turbo forum.

Ok, don't need the dashpot. Thanks.
