Gear lever drops into floor
« on: January 11, 2017, 06:48:37 AM »

Just picked up my Capri after the turbo b6 install and something weird happened on the 5 hour drive home... the gear stick dropped into the floor meaning I had to lift it back up again. I can still change gears, however really don't like the drop.

Has this happened to anyone else... and what is the fix... bushings ?

Check with a local Mazda dealer and ask for a shifter for an 89 323 turbo sedan, the GT. Ford is definitely not going to have them but it is the same part on the 323 GT.
