Photo shoot

Enjoy the transformation process.

I'll be posting photoshop mock ups and actual photo's of my Black Pearl SE XR2 as the build develops.

latest image

photoshop with new 16x7 BBS rims with 205 45 16 tyres

Whats happening next ...

B6T engine install, upgrade to turbo, with gates racing blue timing belt, new pulleys and water pump.

Have BBS rims, need to save up for michelin pilot sport 3 tyres... so no new wheels for a while. Going to Thailand for a month...

DarkAngels SE 94 Capri - interior
« Reply #1 on: November 06, 2016, 12:58:29 AM »

interior

Here's the latest mockup of the interior, with the newly bolted in XR5 turbo seats.

I found a 29 year old SAAS prototipo type leather steering wheel for AUD$20 and a matching SAAS Ford logo horn button for AUD$40... awesome

There is also a momo leather gear boot and screw in momo short anatomico leather gear knob installed.

I hear ya, I wanted a pair of those Mustang GT leather seats too !

Postage is a bit much to Australia, easier to be living in the US...

We are beginning to get Ford Mustang here in Australia now the Ford Australia business has closed down. Not many, just a few seen driving around...

Thanks... next upgrade is some dba221 266mm front rotors with 24v 14 callipers and EBC redstuff brake pads...

The rear rotors look really small, and the new front ones are going to be really big !

I feel like there has to be a way to atleast upgrade the caliper on the back. I'm honestly surprised no one has tried it. I think the best we could do would be is get rear slotted and then put some good pads in. I'd mess with the rears but it would be a waste of time since I'd end up upgrading to GTX rear brakes.

The rear brakes only do like 20% of the overall braking. I don't think there's much to be had with a normally balanced street car
The stock rear brakes - the rotor is also the hub. Which makes things really, really difficult regarding going to a larger rotor. You gain performance by increasing the pad size
