WTB 1991 Capri headlight switch
« on: June 25, 2016, 04:42:10 PM »

Hi all,

My bright headlights do not work, and neither does the flash to pass. The low beams work fine. I have it narrowed down I believe to the dash mounted headlight switch by the manual. Does anyone know where or if one is available?

Thanks.

If your low beams still work, then the headlight/park light dash switch is working just fine.

Sounds like the turn signal/highbeam switch assembly went bad and they are readily available at most auto part stores.

I'm in agreement with Chrispoe....Sounds like your multi-switch.
Let me know if you need one - I usually keep brand new ones in stock.

Thanks guys, I will replace the malfunction switch then. Russ I will check the local auto parts store to see if they have one. If they don't I will let you know. Again thanks guys.

Ok, I have replaced the multifunction switch in the steering column. My flash to to pass now raises the headlights but I still do not have any brights. Any ideas?
