Thanks Matt that's all I needed.
Ill measure my rotors after  Superbowl. If I have the small brakes I can go down to the junkyard and pick up the knuckles from a XR-2. While I'm there I'll pick up a extra set of hubs.

I've got to come go to the JY with you.  PAP in Winston has only had one Capri in two years.

I'll be going this Saturday. It's the U Pull It in Thomasville there's 2 Capris there but they're really picked through.
Ones a 93 Green XR-2, the others a 91 base model.

Jack is there anything you're looking for that I could pick up while I'm there?

I'd love the company if you'd like to come, I honestly could use your help with pulling the knuckles.

Matt would you be willing to machine my hubs?

Just got back from the hospital after having a seizure with Jack Byrd. Im alright but I was told ill need to limit how much im doing, and I wont beable to drive for awhile.

The good news is this should be a one time event but I will be taking precautions for the future.
Matt follow back up with me I want to get the hubs to you as soon as possible.

My goal is to continue to save up and keep working on the build slowly. Ive enlisted several friends who will be helping me so that I dont overexhert myself and have another one.

Take care buddy.

I think working on the car is a good idea, just do everything in moderation and doing stuff with friends is good too.

Thanks, my car came with the stripes. Id like to get rid of them but I feel like the paint underneath would be roached. I want to get the car painted Ford True Blue and then do a vinyl over the hood bulge. Ill need to get new bumpers before I get it repainted.

Thanks everyone for the support, and help. I couldnt do any of this without all you guys on here.

News: I need a Escort GT transmission does anyone have it, I want to turbocharge my N/A and not explode the transmission. Also I should be picking up a BP next month, so my next couple updates are going to be engine build related.

Is this your daily driver? If the transmission is that hard to find, just run the F series til it explodes. Hah.

You're going to want to swap the BP and G series at the same time. No use in fabricobbling drivetrain mounts, only to have to re-do them when you stuff the BP in there.

May be worth picking up a whole EGT/protege as a donor.

Yep the cars my daily currently.

Its not the fact that finding a G series is hard more so, all the ones within 200miles have insane milage on them. The average milage is around 140k, and that just doesnt seem reliable to shove up against a BP with boost.
The worst part is that EGTs are practically non existant here, it seems as tho most have been scrapped. ive found a few Proteges with the BP but theyre all Autos. :-\

I actually consider having the seizure a good thinf, ive gotten the most work done on my car then I have in weeks combined. Its much easier to do radical stuff when I dont have to work about driving it. That being said I really am gonna hate having to wait 3 months to drive again.

Just got ny hubs back from Matt and I have to say he did a wonderful job  ;D!

I will still need to get the knuckles sense I forgot to lable which spacer went to which knuckle when I sent to him. After that im gonna try and get some Drilled and Slotted to match with my carbon ceramic brake pads.
