Yikes! Mine had a broken link when I picked it up years ago. I think I ended up putting one from a junkyard on, but you can buy kits new for it.

My bolts are broken on both sides. Just noticed it this afternoon while working on my loose shifter problem. Where is the best place to look for a replacement?

Thanks,

Tony

Perfect, thanks! I was beginning to think I was the only Capri owner in the area.  :D

I'll shoot him a line.

I got my end links at Auto Zone about 4 years ago.  Both my Capris had at least one broken end link when I bought the cars.

If AutoZone or Advance or whoever doesn't have a reference book to look up which end link you need, take the overall length of the good bolt on the other side of the sway bar and try to match it up with one in a package.  While you're at it you might as well upgrade to poly bushings - not that I was able to detect any difference on my cars.

You do realize the end links aren't all that uncommon right?  A buttload of parts are shared with the 323, Escort, and Festiva.  It's not like some kind of one-off car.  Parts might be uncommon but don't immediately assume only Midco will have them.  You'll end up paying 20 times the part value and not even get a nice lifetime moog warranty

Thanks for the advice rcdraco. I just noticed the end links were broken yesterday, so I am just starting to look. I will check the local parts stores here in town.

Sorry Guys, one last question on these. Do I order the 2 3/8" or the 4 1/4"? It looks like the 2 3/8" is about right, but I want to make sure. Thanks again, Tony

Best thing you could do is go out and measure. I didn't know they offered different lengths. Let us know what you come up with -

Well, I was afraid there wasn't enough of the old link to get a measurement, but there was enough there for me to figure we need the 2 3/8" links. Autozone has them in stock, so off I go! Thanks again for all the help.
