Windshield - new ones available?

I'd like to replace my windshield but I'm having trouble finding a glass shop that can get one.  Has anyone had luck finding a replacement?

I think Rockauto carries them, but I don't know anyone who's bought one.

Seems that some glass places can get them no issue, and other end up pulling them from junkyards after finding what they got doesn't fit.

Rock Auto is discontinued. Try safelite.com. According to their website they have it and can hook you up with an installer in your area. You can expect around $300.

If you were down here I know an ex safelite installer that would do it for $150. You can get it with or without the blue tint up top.

Limited supply but I guess limited ordering too. :)

Awesome, thanks.  I saw that Rock Auto only has one windshield for the 1991 model and none for 1992-1994 models, which seems strange.

Two options at Safelite - green tint, blue shade OR green tint.  What's OEM - green tint, blue shade? 

BTW - the quote for my area is $265 installed.  Then I found a $20 off coupon, $245.  Perfect.  I think I'll pull the trigger.

No go - I scheduled installation and received a phone call a few hours later.  They can't find the glass anywhere and can't do the install.  If I find a windshield they said they'll install it for me but they can't find one.  Bummer.

Bummer, I'll look some more.

Taz and Reed on here are parting out their cars. Maybe you can get one there. They live in OH and MN. Check your local CL too.

The guy that changed my truck windshield had a paddle type chisel bit mounted on a sawzall. He zipped around the perimeter splitting that black sealant in not time. I was thinking a steak knife blade in a sawzall would be good enough for one windshield.

I looked at Rock Auto again. Don't ask me why but none listed for a 92-94 but there is one listed for a 91. When I say one listed it means only one available, lol. Its the last Capri windshield on the planet. :)
