Tough decision.
I have a red 91 XR2 which has a white removable top. Have had it 4 years.
Body in good shape, no rust, needs paint.
As you can see from posts, I have replaced much on the car.
Will have the engine rebuilt very soon.
I wince to see what an offer would be.
New struts, rebuilt turbo, new radiator, water pump has less than 5,000 on it.
I have no idea what this would be worth.
Engine being rebuilt, started smoking after new turbo was installed. Might be the seals in new turbo.
Compression was a bit low, but drove great before smoke started. Still drives ok, and rides great.
Been convinced that with 172,000 miles,  time for redo.
Shoot me an email at jb.simms10@gmail.com and I will send photos.

I'm in Charlotte, NC.  SW may be a bit far, and getting it here probably out of budget. Thanks tho.

Thanks Jim. I need something fairly reliable, and unless you're rebuilding the engine yourself, the cost of that alone would prob put your car out of my price range.

I have a red 91 XR2 5 speed that i am currently using as a daily driver.  It has many upgrades and recent new parts.  i purchased the car in May 2014.  It is currently running and living life very well on the Texas freeways.  I might be persuaded to part with her.

Good you found one. I searched out this thread because there was a 91 red XR2 in the Nashville, TN Craigslist with 108k miles for $800.

The guys son was murdered and it's been sitting ever since. Kind of haunting but cheap.

There's a white one in Knoxville for $2k.
