When the engine is running on my 91 xr2 and I remove the oil cap the engine sounds as if there is a vacumn leak, I don't believe this is normal, anyone have the slightest clue ? I'm about ready to break down screaming after all the money I just put into this car!

That is normal. When you take the cap off you do have a vac leak,a huge one.Rocky
